Space, Wolverhampton’s newest multi-purpose venue, required a sound system capable of delivering both clarity and deep, powerful bass to accommodate its dual role as a coffee shop by day and an events space by night.

Given the wide range of events hosted at Space, such as live performances and DJ sets, a high-performance audio solution was essential.

To meet these demands, Soundjunkies specified and installed a Wharfedale Pro system designed to handle bass-driven live performances and DJ events with precision and impact.

The following system was deployed:

• 4 x GPL-15: Providing full-range clarity and coverage.
• 2 x GPL-118B: Adding depth with 18” bass reinforcement.
• 2 x WLA-218SUBA: Dual 18” active subwoofers delivering deep, impactful low frequencies.
• 2 x DP-4100: Power amplifiers ensuring efficient and reliable performance.
• VERSADRIVE SC-26: System management for precise tuning and optimisation.
• 2 x TYPHON-AX15-BT: Used as DJ monitors and stage wedges for enhanced performer monitoring.

The combination of clarity, power, and versatility ensures that performers and audiences alike experience every detail of the music, making Space a standout venue in Wolverhampton’s nightlife scene.
