Padel Up, a dynamic new sports and social venue in the UK, required a sound system capable of supporting both daily training sessions and high-energy events.

Working closely with the installation and management team, a Wharfedale Pro solution was selected to provide reliable, flexible coverage across the venue’s multiple spaces, including its padel courts, gym, and café bar area.

Padel Up is designed as a community-focused destination for sport, fitness, and social interaction. The venue features four Padel courts alongside a gym and café bar, creating an environment where visitors can play, train, relax, and connect. Beyond day-to-day use, the venue also hosts special events, including DJ performances, requiring a sound system capable of adapting to different acoustic and volume demands throughout the space.

The installation was carried out in collaboration with the venue’s installation and management team, who sought a system that would offer both consistent background music for everyday activities and the headroom needed for higher volume events. By integrating Wharfedale Pro loudspeakers with flexible zoning and control, the team ensured that each area of the venue could be managed independently while maintaining a cohesive audio experience.

The following system was deployed:

• SIGMA-X12 for the main Padel court area

• PROGRAMME-X105 for the café bar space

• SL Series mixer with XC-44F for zoning and speaker management

• DP Series amplifiers for system amplification
