Oktoberfest – Zaragoza, Spain

Oktoberfest celebrations have transcended borders, and in Zaragoza, Spain, the festivities were nothing short of spectacular.
With traditional Bavarian music, flowing beer, and a high-energy crowd, the city’s 17-day Oktoberfest drew thousands, all brought together under a massive festival tent equipped with a powerful Wharfedale Pro system.
Held in Zaragoza, the capital of Aragon and home to around 700,000 residents, the festival took place in a 90 x 40 metre tent, a substantial structure designed to host large crowds. Each night, approximately 3,000 guests gathered to enjoy live performances and party atmospheres fuelled by authentic Oktoberfest entertainment.
German-based Svance Audiotechnik managed the complete audio and lighting production for the event. From transporting gear over 1,600 kilometres to providing on-site technical support, their team ensured consistent performance throughout the extended festival run. The following system was deployed:
“When the organiser comes over after the first soundcheck to show you their goosebumps, you know you’ve done everything right.” – Sven Gaudernack, Managing Director of Svance Audiotechnik.
