A sound system built for paradise

Situated on the west coast of Bonaire, Ocean Oasis Beach Club is an iconic Caribbean destination where music, ocean breeze and sunshine meet. The challenge for this installation was clear: To deliver a powerful, balanced and reliable audio system that would perform flawlessly from relaxed daytime ambience to high-energy evenings by the sea.

In partnership with Main Gear Supply, the installer, Avide B.V. executed a complete system upgrade — choosing Wharfedale Pro for its proven performance, durability, and elegant design.

The installation

The new audio system includes:

• 11 × GPL-5 compact full-range loudspeakers – providing consistent, even coverage across the beach, restaurant and lounge areas.
• 2 × GPL-28B subwoofers – delivering deep, controlled low-end with tight phase alignment, ideal for open-air applications.
• 6 × TITAN-12Z and 4 × TITAN-15Z – lightweight yet powerful IP54 Certified tops for the DJ booth and event zones.
• 3 × DELTA-X18B and 1 × DELTA-X218B – heavy-duty subwoofers delivering extended low-frequency response with high SPL performance.
• All are powered by DP-4100F and DP-4065F amplifiers, equipped with precision DSP for crossover management, system limiting, and temperature protection — all fine-tuned for tropical operation.
