WLA-1 Series and XLA Series Deliver Multi-Room Coverage at Mi-Soul Grand Weekender 2026

Wharfedale Pro systems once again powered the Mi-Soul Grand Weekender, delivering high-energy sound across multiple rooms at the iconic Grand Hotel in Brighton from April 24–26 2026.

Hosted annually by Mi-Soul Radio, the three-day festival brought together DJs, artists and music fans from across the UK for a packed weekend of soul, funk, house and disco performances across several stages and entertainment spaces.

Working alongside event audio specialists 2 Big Audio and White’s Sound and Light, Wharfedale Pro systems were deployed throughout the venue to provide consistent coverage, powerful low-frequency performance and reliable operation across the entire weekend.

The House Room system featured:

• WLA-28X line array elements
• WLA-28SUB and WLA-218SUB subwoofers
• WDG-AX12 floor monitors
• DP-F Series amplifiers

Meanwhile, the Main Room was equipped with a larger XLA Series deployment:

• XLA-308 line array elements
• XLA-118SUB and XLA-221SUB subwoofers
• WDG-AX12 floor monitors
• DP-F Series amplifiers

The combination of WLA and XLA systems ensured clear, controlled audio throughout both spaces, delivering the output and coverage required for the events energetic atmosphere while maintaining detail across a wide range of performances.
