MI-Soul Radio Grand Weekender 2025 – Brighton, UK

WLA-1 Series Powers Multi-Stage Sound at Mi-Soul Radio’s Grand Weekend Festival
Our WLA-1 line array system delivered consistent, wide-dispersion sound across multiple stages at Mi-Soul Radio’s Grand Weekend Festival at the iconic Grand Hotel in Brighton, thanks to a collaborative setup led by 2 Big Audio and White’s Sound and Lighting.
The Grand Weekend Festival by Mi-Soul Radio is known for its high-energy atmosphere and diverse audience, and is the ultimate Mi-Soul experience. The event required a versatile audio solution to support multiple performance areas simultaneously.
2 Big Audio, owned by Eddie Green, specialises in scalable audio setups for festivals and live events. Seeking an upgrade to handle multi-stage deployments, Green evaluated several systems before selecting our WLA-1 series for its compact design, reliable sound performance and wide horizontal coverage. White’s Sound and Lighting collaborated to complete the full audio-visual installation. The following system was deployed:
Subwoofers and stage monitors for extended low-end and on-stage clarity
“After comparing multiple systems, the WLA-1 stood out for its clarity and flexibility,” said Eddie Green. “It handled the diverse needs of the Grand Weekend Festival effortlessly.”
Wharfedale Pro UK team also supported the installation on-site, ensuring seamless deployment across the venue.
