WLA-1 Series Installed at Kidderminster Town Hall by Load Street Studios

Kidderminster Town Hall has upgraded its live sound capabilities with a new Wharfedale Pro system installation completed by Load Street Studios, delivering powerful, flexible audio reinforcement for a wide range of live performances and events.

The installation was designed to provide consistent coverage, strong low-frequency performance and efficient deployment within the historic venue, while also supporting straightforward maintenance and operation for the in-house team.

The flown array consists of:

• 1 × WLA-118SUB low-frequency enclosure per side
• 3 × WLA-112 line array elements per side

The arrays are suspended from a 6-tonne capacity rise-and-fall truss system, allowing the entire system to be lowered to ground level for simplified rigging, servicing and maintenance.

Low-frequency reinforcement is provided by:

• 4 × WLA-121SUB subwoofers in a ground stacked formation

Additional front fill coverage and foldback is handled by:

• 2 × GPL-15 loudspeakers
• 6 × WLA-15MA loudspeakers

All powered by our DP-F Series amplifiers.
