Wharfedale Pro WLA-1 System Powers Dreiländerhalle in Passau, Germany.

The Dreiländerhalle, a premier multi-purpose venue in Passau, Germany, recently hosted a major event featuring a Wharfedale Pro WLA-1 system.

Known for its versatility, the venue boasts a 4,500 m² event space, accommodating up to 3,600 seated guests or 7,000 standing attendees. Situated near the Austrian and Czech borders, it serves as a key location for concerts, exhibitions, and large-scale productions.

For this event produced by Alex Kristan, a powerful Wharfedale Pro system was deployed to ensure exceptional audio coverage and clarity. The setup included:

• 8 x WLA-112 line array elements
• 8 x Delta-X18B subwoofers
• 6 x GPL-5 for nearfield coverage
• 4 x DP-4100N amplifiers for reliable power distribution

The system was supplied and installed by Show PA Concertproduction, led by Harry Berndsen. With extensive experience in delivering high-quality live sound solutions, Show PA ensured that the Wharfedale Pro system provided optimal performance for the event.
