SH1596

The SH1596 is a high power, 2-way loudspeaker system, designed for sound reinforcement applications. The system is comprised of one 15" low frequency driver and a large-format, high frequency compression driver, coupled to a constant-directivity 90° x 60° horn. Combining 96 dB sensitivity with 1000 Watts (continuous) power handling, the SH1596 delivers sound pressure levels well beyond those typical of systems its size.

The SH1596 is designed to be easily pole mounted on a speaker stand or above an SHO Series subwoofer, using the Wharfedale Pro SP Series pole mount accessory. The rugged steel pole mount accessory, which is finished in black paint, is 34 5/8 inches (880 mm) tall and has a diameter of 1 3/8 inches (35mm).

Additionally, the SH1596 is fitted with a total of twenty two M10 threaded inserts to facilitate flying the cabinet, where needed.
